If you are wanting to see a whale up close, Cape Leeuwin, Western Australia is the place to go! There are numerous vantage points along Leeuwin road to observe splashing mammals between June to October.
We visited Cape Leeuwin in June, and although the vantage point was superb and the sky was blue, the temperature was less than 10 degrees celsius! It was freezing!!!!
